It's amazing how much actual battle strategy you learn from paintball. Because I literally pulled that entire combat protocol briefing out of my experience playing paintball. Plus some shooters on the computer. Lol. Either way, I know enough to sound professional.

I read it. It wont pass through the shields. If the shields are down then it is harmful to an extent.

Also, please. Phazon corrupts(Mutates) or kills anything without PED protection, which ONLY the Chaakas have.
May I also state that it is it's own weakness, and it DEVOURS anything, even shields.

But Phazon only Devours once it is fired.

But Phazon will devour to an extent, it will eventually "die out" and single bursts from smal arms will not damag a ships integrity. But it does have an "aftermath" effect.

I don't see how they would have PED if they don't KNOW about PHAAZE and the CHAAKANS are the only ones who KNOW about it. And the only person who knows about the Chaakans is Flares character

You mean phazon?
Phazon is harvested in many different ways. But most have become obselete.
For those that don't have PED (Phazon Enhancement Device) or PPD(PhazonProtectionDevice) or the PHD(PhazoneHarvesesmentDevice) they use drones which collect samples or "Chunks" of Phazon and bring it back to sender. From there, they put the phazon in a highly concentrated confinement system. From this point, they leak the phazon from it's solid or liquid state, and suck it up into vents, which then dispense them into tubes of phazon energy. This is for the ones that don't have P-D tech.

BUT for the Chaakans they simply send specialized units armed with PHD and PPD's down to the harvesting area, where their PHD's collect the Phazonic air, molecules and etc. The units then bring back the PHD and dispense the collected Phazon into carefuly built Phazon Storage units.
