The Rebels have no honor. It goes strictly against most of the ideals the Strategos hold dear. There's a reason they use lethal injection as well. They believe the universe won't be clean until they are dead, but acknowledge they can feel pain and kill them quick and painlessly.

We can purify them, it erases even the slightest of pain that lethal injection (controversial) can possibly cause. And the rebels have a code of honor. It is called the Company Codex, it is just not important as it was when first created. During the war with humanity and it's enemies they followed it. After seeing humanity shun them and kick them out rather Heroes they lost sight of it.

Chapter One: An Ancient Horror is just the 1st chapter of RotA. There are three chapters overall.

If the Ark turns out what I think it is, as I have said before, maybe a faction (not the rebels) can discover the Chaakas in the next chapter, and maybe the Chaakans can help.

Now then, if the Shade show up again, maybe Basquez can show back up, along with one or two PRESIDIO class capitals and a few dozen CONSOLATIONs or RETRIBUTIONS. I do believe that would get the Unity's attention. Or maybe I can pull the time-honored 'half-destroyed ship exits transwarp at high speed and almost runs a random Unity ship over before somehow coming to a stop' maneuver. That would get their attention too. Either way, I want in on the next chapter. Maybe the Union ship can have a few hundred shade battleships chasing it or something. Lol

If your people's seemingly sole existence is to take down the Shade, you'll have your fun in this. If you do recall how the Rise of the Ark would typically go...

Depends on how you look at it. If you but it like that, yes its hilarious. But when you put into context what the Wanderer's been through it's not all that silly. Almost all the closest people to him were female. Miiko reminds him/me of his old life.

Makes since, Parem is just over protective, he has no true feelings for the her.
(He is roughly 1000 years old which explains a lot xD)
