Anderson the Great(S)Captain - Master of the ship, ultimately responsible for the ship and crew, he/she is the Commanding Officer and is the most senior officer aboard the vessel.
(S)(1st Mate) Executive Officer - The liason between captain and crew, the Executive Officer acts as the disciplinarian, personnel manager, adviser to the captain, and much more. S/he is also one of only two officers, along with the Chief Medical Officer, that can remove a Commanding Officer from duty.
(S)(2nd Mate) Operations Officer - Responsible for ensuring that ship functions, such as the use of the lateral sensor array, do not interfere with one and another. S/he must prioritize resource allocations, so that the most critical activities can have every chance of success. If so required, s/he can curtail shipboard functions if s/he thinks they will interfere with the ship\'s current mission or routine operations.
FLIGHT DEPARTMENTWoz2(S)1st Helmsman - Certified Flight Crew, Lead Pilot

2nd Helmsman - Certified Flight Crew, Assistant Pilot

Navigator - Certified Flight Crew. S/he is responsible for plotting flight plans, astrography, spatial positioning, etc., Supervises the computers piloting, corrects any flight deviations and is capable of piloting the ship if both helmsman are unavailable.
Runabout Pilot(s) - Responsible for piloting and operating the various auxiliary craft (besides fighters), these pilots are responsible for transporting their passengers safely to and from locations that are otherwise inaccessible.
Fighter Pilot(s) - Responsible for maintaining the and operating the dozen or so fighters stored in the docking station. Each fighter holds two people.
ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT=+=DTD=+=(S)1st Engineer - The Chief Engineer is responsible for the condition of all systems and equipment on board the ship. S/he oversees maintenance, repairs and upgrades of all equipment. S/he is also responsible for the many repair teams during crisis situations.
2nd Engineer - Assists the 1st Engineer in the daily work; in issues regarding mechanical, administrative matters and coordinating repairs and maintenance with other departments.
General Engineer - There are several non-specialized engineers aboard the vessel. They are assigned to their duties by the 1st and 2nd Engineers, performing a number of different tasks as required, i.e. general maintenance and repair. Generally, engineers as assigned to more specialized engineering person to assist in there work is so requested by the specialized engineer.
SECURITY DEPARTMENTAnderson the Great(S)Chief Security Officer - Her/his duty is to ensure the safety of ship and crew as well as its defense. Some take it as their personal duty to protect the Commanding Officer/Executive Officer on away teams. She/he is also responsible for people under arrest and the safety of guests, liked or not. S/he also is a department head and a member of the senior staff, responsible for all the crew members in her/his department and duty rosters.
The ColonelMaster At Arms - The Master-at-Arms trains and supervises members of the Security Department in tactical operations, repairs, and protocols; maintains duty assignments for all tactical personnel; supervises ordnance inventory, preparation, and deployment. Maintains duty assignments for all security personnel; supervises weapons locker access and firearm deployment; and is qualified to temporarily act as Chief Security Officer if so ordered. The Master-at-Arms reports directly to the Chief Security Officer.
Tactical Officer(s) - The Tactical Officers are the vessels gunmen. They assist by running and maintaining the numerous weapons systems aboard the ship, and analysis and tactical planning of current missions. Also trained in ground combat and small unit tactics.
Intelligence Officer(s)- Responsible for gathering and providing intelligence as it becomes possible during a mission; during covert missions, providing the necessary classified and other information. The Intelligence officer has the patience to read through a database for hours on end, and the cunning to coax information from an unwilling giver.
Security Officer(s) - There are several Security Officers aboard the Valor. They are assigned to their duties by the Chief Security Officer and his/her Deputy and mostly guard sensitive areas, protect people, patrol, and handle other threats to the ship.
STEWARD DEPARTMENT(S)
Chief Purser - Chief Officer of the Steward Department and responsible for planning events and the maintenance of all entertainment equipment meant for the crew.
Moral Officer - Responsible for keeping the morale of the crew high. Delivers regular reports on morale to the Executive Officer. The Morale Officer plans activities that will keep the crew's morale and demeanor up. If any crew member is having problems, the Morale Officer can assist that crew member.
Sanitation Crew - Responsible for cleaning all of the crews rooms as well as maintaining a quarantine of any section of the ship when needed.
Chef(s) - Responsible for the crews break room and making meals for everyone on board.
STORAGE DEPARTMENT(S)
Quartermaster - Thus a ship/facility must maintain a significant stock of spare parts in inventory at all times. The Quartermaster is the person responsible for the ships cargo loading/unloading operations. Also keeps track of the ship's stores/supplies in the cargo hold. A good Quartermaster is never caught short on supplies.
General Laborer(s) - Works for the Quartermaster and pretty much does all the manual labor he requires.
SCIENCE DEPARTMENT(S)
Chief Science Officer - Responsible for all the scientific data the ship/facility collects, and the distribution of such data to specific section within the department for analysis. S/he is also responsible with providing the ship\'s captain with scientific information needed for command decisions. S/he also is a department head and a member of the Senior Staff and responsible for all the crew members in her/his department and duty rosters.
Archivist - Responsible for the ships electronic archive as well as updating it with new information
Astrographer - Specialist in both astronomy and star mapping.
Physicist - Specialist in physics.
Biologist - Specialist in biology.
Geologist - Specialist in geology.
Chemist - Specialist in chemistry.
MEDICAL DEPARTMENT(S)
Chief Medical Officer - The Chief Medical Officer is responsible for the physical health of the entire crew, but does more than patch up injured crew members. His/her function is to ensure that they do not get sick or injured to begin with, and to this end monitors their health and conditioning with regular check ups. If necessary, the Chief Medical Officer can remove anyone from duty, even a Commanding Officer. Besides this s/he is available to provide medical advice to any individual who requests it.
Medical Officer - Medical Officer undertake the majority of the work aboard the ship/facility, examining the crew, and administering medical care under the instruction of the Chief Medical Officer, also runs the other medical areas not directly overseen by the Chief Medical Officer.
Counselor - Responsible for dealing with other people and races, and in helping crew members with personal, psychological, and emotional problems.
COMMS DEPARTMENTChief Communications Officer - Head of the Comms Department and responsible for the team of assistance which maintains all communications systems across the ship. Also required to make a weekly report of all events on the ship and relay it to Earth via sub-space array.
Assistant Comms Officer(s) - Communication aboard a ship or facility takes two basic forms, voice and data. Both are handled by the on board computer system and dedicated hardware. The vastness and complexity of this system requires a dedicated team to maintain the system.
Translator - Specialist in the translation of languages and codes and has in depth knowledge of ancient languages and writings.
